Traveling around the world with kids

We are Els and Justin.

We travel with our two children aged 6 and 10 through Europe and Africa in this fantastic camper truck. Along the way we meet many interesting people and other traveling families. We learn from the places and from encounters with strangers along the way, and develop ourselves and the children in this alternative way to see the world with a broad vision

We have little space to store useless things.

So we have learned to think twice about things we want to buy, and where we leave them when we have bought them. Durable, high-quality, compact. All things that we take into account. Here is a nice collection of what we find really important, and what you can use very well if you go on a world trip with your family, give home education, or love the camper life.

Our daily life in pictures

It would be a cliché to cliché for use with a cliché:

Pictures say more than words. This is our Instagram feed. If you do not have an instagram, and still want to follow us, you can always see the last snapshots of our life here.

"From my own experience, I know that you can deal with your setbacks in two ways: either you stick around and keep doing things like you did so you get what you got. The other option is that I help you step forward step to see what is possible and what you can influence yourself, only then is there room for improvement, and that process never ends.
It's a wonderful feeling when you know that you make the difference. "

Videos

We have already done quite a few fun things!

On our youtube channel we regularly post new short films with our experiences.

For example, we have crossed Normandy and have often dwelt on the violence of the Second World War, we have come into contact with pre-history and the first cave inhabitants at the bottom of France, and we came on our way to Portugal through a small village in Spain, which only cave can be reached! It is almost impossible to film how cool it is to drive through!

"What does it look like inside ?"

On this page you will see (soon) what our car looks like inside. Where and how we live, cook and sleep. And of course where we keep all our children's toys. A virtual tour in our house, and around the camper truck.

Local shops

About the nicest shops on the way

Because we also just need groceries along the way

we often end up at the nicest little shops, which have special things. The most beautiful herbs, homemade clothing or crafts, tiles, cooking utensils, or even shoes, you name it!

Some are so much fun that we dedicate an item to it on our site, hoping that the additional advertising will help the owner and a reason for others to discover this beauty too.

Other families on the road

Along the way we often meet other families who, like us, travel with children and discover the world in an alternative way. We notice that there is often a huge click between the children and the adults themselves. And we regularly meet a second or third time somewhere on a trip in the world. We are family
